Profit: (n) a financial gain, especially the difference between the amount earned and the amount spent in buying, operating, or producing something; advantage; benefit.

For e.g.

  • The firm earned huge profit from its latest international deal.
  • The only people to profit from the case were the doctors.

Prophet: (n) a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God.

For e.g.

  • He sent many prophets to tell of the coming messiah.
  • A prophet does not argue but declares what he feels to be God’s will.
