1.      Smiling Buddha It was codename given to India’s first nuclear test explosion that took place at Pokhran on 18 May 1974.
2.      Shakti This refers to test explosions of five nuclear devices, three on 11 May and two on 13 May 1998, conducted by India at the Pokhran test range.
3.      Blackboard The scheme launched in 1987 to provide minimum essential facilities to all primary schools in the country.
4.      Flood A rural development programme started by India’s National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) in 1970 to create a nationwide milk grid.
